DESCRIPTION:Nesta oficina\, os participantes aprenderão os princípios básicos da escultura de colheres em madeira\, com uma forte componente prática.\nSerão abordados os diferentes tipos de madeira\, ferramentas\, técnicas de escultura e regras de segurança no seu manuseamento. No final\, cada participante levará consigo as colheres que produziu durante a oficina. \nIn this workshop\, participants will learn the basic principles of wood spoon carving through a hands-on approach.\nThe workshop will cover different types of wood\, tools\, carving techniques and safety rules for handling tools. Preocupado com o desaparecimento das artes e ofícios ligados à madeira\, o coletivo procura contribuir para a preservação e continuidade destas práticas artesanais. \nLisbon Spoons are a collective of wood lovers who have dedicated themselves to the art of spoon carving. They take a sustainable approach\, using wood from pruning\, found in nature or from various leftovers. They favour hand tools. Concerned about the disappearance of arts and crafts related to wood\, they try to help keep these crafts alive.
